Paraben-Free

 

Parabens are preservatives used in cosmetics. Scientific studies have associated parabens with an increased risk of breast cancer. Also, it has been found that methylparaben can lead to accelerated skin aging, skin rashes and allergies. On the International Nomenclature of Cosmetic Ingredients (INCI) list, parabens are recognizable under the term "paraben,” preceded by methyl, ethyl, propyl, and butyl.

Phthalate-Free

​

In personal care products phthalates are often used as a stabilizer for synthetic perfumes. We only use natural essential oils in our products.

Preservative-Free

​

 Many synthetic preservatives have been known to cause dermatitis or other allergic reactions. We do not feel this is something you should be putting on your skin for your body to absorb.

Synthetic Fragrance-Free

​

These scents are often used because they are cheaper than natural perfumes found in essential oils. In addition the synthetic scents smell just like that- fake! (We do use some scent oils for our candles only).

Cruelty-Free

​

We only test our products on ourselves, family and friends.
