  • How do I properly care for my soaps?
All of our soaps are made with plant based butters and oils. All of our products are natural, free of artifical colors, scents and chemicals, and therefore they will soften and melt if not allowed to dry out between uses. We reccomend storing your soap on a draining soap dish (also available in our store).
  • Are your products hypoallergenic?
Yes, our products are made with 100% natural and organic ingredients with no artificial colorants or scents added. All of our products are relatively unlikely to cause allergic reaction. Please email us directly with any allergy concerns before use.
  • Why did my sugar scrub separate?
The main oil in our sugar scrub is coconut oil which has a melting point of 76 degrees fahrenheit. We do not add emulsifying agents to our products therefore natural separating is expected with temperature variances. If your product becomes separated, use a spoon or your finger to simply mix it back up!
  • Where do you source your ingredients from?
We try to source as local as possible and support small business owners rather than large corporations. Some products are unavailable locally and may cause me to source from unique regions.
  • Is my body butter temperature sensitive?
Yes! If left in direct sunlight or high temperatures your body butter will "melt" or settle as we do not add any chemicals to our products. Be sure to store in a cool place out of direct sunlight for long lasting goodness.
  • How do I use my soap as shampoo?
Switching to a shampoo bar from store bought shampoo (loaded with chemicals) is a bit of a transition. The shampoo bar is full of natural oils and essential oils that help restore your hair to its most natural state. You may feel like your hair feels "heavy or greasy" at first, but this will even out as you continue to use. We recommend using an apple cider vinegar rinse once a week to help break down any residue left behind by the natural oils in the shampoo bar. My whole life my hair was flat and thin, but as soon as I ditched the chemicals I realized they had been stripping my hair for years and years! Now my hair has body and CURLS!
  • Why should I use an Apple Cider Vinegar Hair Rinse with my Shampoo Bar?
Using an ACV hair rinse once a week is beneficial for many reasons! It will help decrease residue build up, bring back shine, clarify your scalp and more!
  • Why do my product look different than the last time I ordered it?
At Hazle and Bee Organics we pride ourselves on the fact that we are a small batch, handmade company. Everything is measured by hand, and ingredients may vary slightly between batches. We also do not use any added chemicals to stabalize our products- meaning there may be bubbles and imperfections throughout! We love our small batch natural products and encourage the imperfections to be embraced and expected.
  • Do you ship internationally?
At this time, we only ship to the USA and Canada.
  • Are soap bars just for washing hands?
No way, Jose! This is actually one of the biggest misconceptions folks have when transitioning from store bought body washes to using a soap bar. For some reason we have it in our heads that soap bars are for looking pretty next to the sink of your guest powder room. This couldn't be farther from the truth! All of our soap bars are encouraged to be used in the shower, on any bit of skin you like! They are hydrating and smell great- and will not leave your skin feeling waxy and tight like many commercial brand soap bars do. Another reason to make the switch? Plastic free! No more body wash bottles ending up in your trash (hopefully recycling at the very least!). Do your skin and mother earth a favor, and give soap bars a chance.
